Cilantro Lime Chicken Skewers

Finally the weather has been warm enough for us to start grilling again. We love to cook on the grill during the summer months not only because I love grilling but if I can cut back on turning the on the oven on a hot day, I’m all for it. I’ll never pass up a good grilling recipe and you’ll find us out there more often than not cooking lunch or dinner. These garlic cilantro lime chicken skewers are a family favorite that I typically cook on the grill at  least twice a week. Chicken is one of my favorite things to grill because I know that it’s something the kids will eat and won’t turn their noses up at it.Garlic Cilantro Lime Chicken, STOK Grills, STOK Quattro

I made these for dinner last week when my parents came over for a visit. I didn’t even have a chance to get them off the grill before they were begging to try them.

The secret behind these is the zesty marinade made with honey, cilantro, limes and garlic. Plus it’s really easy to make on busy nights.  If I know I’m making these for a cookout or party, I’ll make the marinade in the morning and let the chicken soak in it for a bit.

Once they’re done, you’ll have a new family favorite that will be the star of your next BBQ or party.
